The Festetics Manor, located in Fenékpuszta, is a historically significant site tied to the renowned Festetics family, one of Hungary's most influential aristocratic lineages. Under Count Tasziló Festetics II, the manor became a celebrated center for English thoroughbred horse breeding, achieving success in prestigious races across the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy. Visitors to the interactive exhibition can explore the family's contributions to animal husbandry, culture, and the development of the region, gaining insight into their lasting legacy. After a hard-fought past, the once internationally renowned estate opened its doors as a complex leisure centre in December 2023. The Fenékpusztai Majorság recalls the heyday of the Festetics family and their horse-keeping traditions in a contemporary setting.
