In October 2024, as part of Hungary's largest and most popular energy industry event, Night of the Power Plants, Tatabánya Power Plant Ltd. (Tatabánya Erőmű Kft.) once again welcomed visitors with captivating interactive experiences. Our company was proud to actively participate in the realization of these experiences for the second time.
One of the main attraction of the event, the nighttime light projection, was realized in both 2022 and 2024 as a result of our company’s work.During these interactive displays, visitors could explore the iconic buildings of the power plant, including the country’s third tallest chimney, come alive with stunning visual effects, providing an extraordinary spectacle for all attendees.
The event's uniqueness was further enhanced by a mobile-based augmented reality (AR) application created by our team to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the power plant.
Through this application, visitors could virtually explore pre-World War II buildings that no longer exist or have since been reconstructed, offering a rich glimpse into the power plant’s history.The event not only connected the past and present of the power plant using modern technological tools but also served as an inspiring showcase of the energy industry’s history and future.
The interactive content and breathtaking light projections contributed to making the event an unforgettable experience for all participants.
